i want a reeeeeaaallly clear HD *POCKET-SIZED camcorder. any suggestions?

yes, pocket cameras come in the HD variety. clarity assumes that neither the subject or the camera moves. a good pocket video camera is the Kodak Zi8.
to be able to shoot both action and HD requires HDV which does not come in a pocket size.
