you can always go in the Profile drop down list to adjust video output type, should you choose. For the iPod Touch (or iPhone), videos are automatically converted to H.264 at 480×320.

Click Select File, and then navigate to the window that contains the video that you want to convert.

Click Browse, then navigate to the folder where you want your output file saved. I have a specific folder named iPod Videos for such purposes. Click Next.
